Need of good gatherings and positive film content for young boys

Working on the project of Amal Academy and finding the problems to be solved, I have realized a problem that these days, children do not have a good gathering to spend time with, and learn some good and positive things. Same is the case for elders but since I got a chance to meet some young boys, I think boys need this more. Moreover since in a young age, a child can easily learn new things and make good habits while as he grows up, it is very hard to change the habits.

Therefore, lack of positive learning circles for boys in their localities is a problem to be considered. What I have mostly seen is that most of the boys, as grow and step out of the homes, they are in search of friends and they find a lot of gatherings but they learn many bad habits. Some of them are very severe while the others are also not to be ignored.

What I have seen in most of the gatherings is that they copy the films and movie stars. Their words and their habits promote obscenity vulgarity and when the boys adopt it, it takes them far away from Islam and act as a poison for their beliefs. It also promotes lying, making fun of elders and parents. This is because they see such things everywhere around, in other gathering, on internet and from other resources the young generation is getting such king of habits.

After having some time spent with such boys and their circles, I realized that they do not have a good purpose set for their activities. They want to just enjoy and have fun as they are taught “Kha lay pee lay jee lay!”. So there a serious need to change their mindset and at least they realize their purpose of being in this world and then providing a good learning content to them.

So there is a need of developing some good gatherings of boys specially younger ones around us, providing attractive activities and delivering a good message to them and strengthening their beliefs. The advantage of such learning circles would also be that they would not only learn together but also play, study and go for namaz together. This will remind them the learning everywhere they are, which is the practical example of an Islamic society.

There are some organizations working with such goals but the gap is in providing good and attractive content. Especially in the field of film and videography we need to produce some effective content related to some basic Islamic values and good habits which the children could adopt just like they adopt from the movies.

MY LEARNINGS:

By doing this project I realized the situation of my society.

I came to know the mindset of boys.

I got a motivation to do some good for my society.

While seeing the people ignorant of their purpose and the teachings from the Creator, my belief strengthened and I got more closer to the God and my purpose.
